Mental Health Resources<\/h2><\/div>
Entit\u00e9 3 works for the health of the Francophone communities in the territory it serves.<\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=”vc_default”][vc_column width=”2\/3″]

In order to determine their needs and priorities for health services, Entity 3 organizes consultations, surveys and awareness campaigns targeting Francophone communities. Entity 3 is involved in the areas of mental health, primary care and long-term care.<\/p>\n

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines mental health as follows:
\nA state of well-being that enables each person to recognize his or her own abilities, to achieve self-actualization, to overcome the normal stresses of life, to do productive and successful work, and to contribute to the life of his or her community.<\/p>\n

Mental illness can therefore be defined as changes that affect a person’s thinking, mood or behaviour to the extent that they are sometimes unable to carry out their daily routine or do so with difficulty.<\/p>\n
